Ingredients:
To make the strawberry syrup:
- ½ cup white sugar
- ½ cup water
- 6 strawberries
For the cocktails:
- Double shot Cruz Manhattan Blossom vodka (50ml)
- Single shot strawberry simple syrup
- Ice
- Ginger beer
- 1 Strawberry for garnish
Method:
- To make the strawberry syrup, combine the sugar, water and strawberries in a small pot and bring to the boil until the sugar has dissolved. You can mash the strawberries a little so that they really infuse into the syrup, then strain the syrup to get a clear red syrup. Set aside to cool.
To make the cocktail:
- In a glass add some ice and then pour in the vodka, syrup and top up with ginger beer. Give it a good stir and then garnish with a strawberry.
