In summer you want to spend as much time outside as possible and what better way to do it than putting together a beautiful snack platter, freezing flowers and leaves into your ice, and making delicious fruity gin and tonic cocktails.

Adding a little fruit juice and herbs to your gin and tonic really changes it up and keep it fresh. Using herbs like lemon verbena, lemongrass or mint is the best and adds that aromatic smell you get as you take a sip.

Simply put any edible flower or leaf into your ice trays and fill with water before you freeze.

Ingredients:

  • Double shot of Tanqueray gin
  • Ice
  • ¼ cup granadilla juice
  • Lemon verbena syrup (optional)
  • Tonic water

 Method:

  • In a high ball glass pour in your gin, juice & syrup, add in the ice and mix then top with tonic water
