Ingredients (per drink):
- 60ml (2 shots) Irish whiskey (e.g. Peaky Blinder Irish Whiskey)
- 30ml (1 shot) sweet vermouth
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- Ice
- Maraschino cherry (for garnish)
Method:
Step 1 – Fill a mixing glass or cocktail shaker with ice.
Step 2 – Add the Irish whiskey, sweet vermouth, and bitters.
Step 3 – Stir (don’t shake) for about 30 seconds until well chilled.
Step 4 – Strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass.
Step 5 – Garnish with a maraschino cherry or a twist of orange peel.
