  • Vodka Soda:

Vodka and soda water could be more interesting, right? Spruce up your vodka soda with a sprig of rosemary and some fresh lemon juice. Add a splash of colour with a fun garnish. You can also recreate this recipe with tequila or gin.

  • Champagne, Soda, and Fruit:

Measure out 120mls of champers, and top up your glass with sparkling water and fun fruits like strawberries. Festive, fewer calories and colourful.

  • Lite beer, anyone?

From South African classics, like Castle Lite, to excellent craft varieties. Beer lovers are showered with choice and taste when choosing a lite beer. The lowered calorie content makes lite beers a refreshing choice for anyone calorie conscious.

  • Red Wine

Calorie wise red and white ones are basically on par. But, if you choose red over white, you get the added heart health benefits. Also, choose dry over sweeter options like rosés for less sugar. Market Liquors often runs specials on our wine selection, stay up to date with all our specials here.

  • Avoid Cocktails

Sad but true. Cocktails are famous for their high sugar content. Add colourful fruit to your drinky if you want something bright and whimsical. Try crushing berries to release their sweetness or add flavourful herbs to bring out the best in your drink.

Here’s to achieving our New Year’s resolutions and a happy 2023.
