St. Patrick’s Day Punch
Ingredients:
- 2 cup Vodka
- 1 bottle (750 ml) Sparkling Wine (Prosecco or Champagne)
- 1/2 cup Melon Liqueur (or Orange Liqueur with 1 drops Green Food Coloring)
- 4-5 Kiwi Fruits, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 Sweet Melon (like cantaloupe or honeydew), melon balls
- 1 scoops Orange Sorbet (for each serving)
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions:
- Prepare the Fruit:
- Use a melon baller to scoop out the sweet melon (like cantaloupe or honeydew) into small balls.
- Peel and slice the kiwi fruit into thin slices.
- Make the Punch Base: In a large punch bowl, combine the vodka, sparkling wine and melon liqueur.
- Add the Ice, Kiwi & Melon Balls: Add the ice, sliced kiwi and sweet melon balls into the punch bowl. Stir lightly to combine.
- Prepare Individual Servings: In each serving glass, add a few ice cubes, then pour the punch over the ice, filling each glass about 2/3 of the way.
- Top with Sorbet: For each serving, use an ice cream scoop to add one scoop of orange sorbet on top of the punch. The sorbet will float on top, adding a creamy, frothy texture as it melts.
- Garnish: Garnish each glass with fresh mint leaves for a pop of colour and extra freshness.
Tip: You can easily adjust the strength of the punch by varying the amount of vodka. Serve the punch immediately so the sorbet stays frosty on top!
