Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- ½ cup dark chocolate, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup cake flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1/4 cup red wine
Method:
- Preheat oven to 180C. Line a small baking tin with wax paper.
- In a pot over low heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add in chopped chocolate, stirring constantly until the chocolate is melted completely.
- Whisk together the sugar and the melted chocolate and butter. Add in eggs and beat until smooth and well combined.
- Turn the mixer to low and add in cocoa powder, flour, salt, vanilla essence, and wine and mix together well.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 40 mins.
