Created by bartender Roland Gruber and named after his friend Hugo, this delightful drink has become a favorite for its light and effervescent profile. Let’s explore a quick and easy recipe to bring the Hugo Spritz experience to your home.



  • 2 shots of Elderflower syrup
  • 8-10 Fresh mint leaves
  • 120ml Da Luca Prosecco
  • 60ml Soda water
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime wheel and mint sprig for garnish


  1. Muddle fresh mint leaves by clapping them in your hands.
  2. Pour in elderflower syrup to fuse with the mint.
  3. Add in the ice.
  4. Next with the prosecco.
  5. Top with soda water.
  6. Gently stir to combine.
  7. Garnish with a lime wheel and mint sprig.
