Ingredients
- 30 ml Tequila or Mezcal
- 15 ml Triple Sec
- 30 ml lime juice, freshly squeezed
- 15 ml teaspoon Sugar
- kosher Salt (optional)
- lime wedge (optional)
- crushed ice or ice cubes
Preparation
- Salt the glass: Grind or pour salt onto a small plate. Take your lime wedge or a bit of triple sec and rub it around the edge of the glass. Turn the glass upside down and press the rim into the salt. Voila!
- For the drink – Shake the tequila, triple sec, lime juice and sugar in a shaker (or stir vigorously with a spoon) and pour over ice. Or you can blend it in a blender if you prefer it.
- Garnish with a lime wedge and enjoy!
